The arranger, Julie Doubleday (Nee Plant), is a professional viola player based in the United Kingdom. Having worked throughout Europe and the United Kingdom with many symphony and chamber orchestras, Julie now concentrates her musical talent on providing professional arrangements for string quartets and other ensembles.Julie began arranging music for the gigs and concerts she was involved in as part of the Amorissima, Lincoln and Astaria String Quartets. She found the range of repertoire available for string quartets to be limited, as well as uninteresting for the viola, cello and second violin players. Consequently, her arrangements often feature the inner parts as well as giving both the violoncello and the first violin opportunities to shine.
